U Cup Seals, also known as Lip Seals, are "U" shaped seals with flared outer lips that create an effective seal for low speed, low pressure applications with steady movement. U Cup seals are mostly used for sealing rods, and easy to work with because they don't require much room. The seal's U shape naturally creates a tight seal during motion as pressure builds in the inner walls of the U.

Standard U Cup seals are made of 80 durometer Nitrile and come with internal lubrication. 70 and 90 durometer are also available, as well as a variety of other compounds.
