Dura-Pack packings are a special type of Vee Packing with a “W” shape. Sometimes referred to as W-Vee Packings, Dura-Pack packings have a center extrusion that nests inside other Dura-Pack seals, creating a seal that can flex with pressure without compromising performance. Dura-Packs work well in wide variety of applications and, unlike Vee Packings, are virtually independent of stack packing pressure requirements.

Dura-Pack seals do not require male and female adapters. The only requirement is a “Flat-Back” Dura-Pack seal, which is used to support the base of a stack. This allows for a greater number of seals in a given space, providing potentially greater sealing properties than with a standard Vee Pack.

Dura-Pack Packings come in standard 80 durometer Nitrile. 70 and 90 durometer are also available, as well as a variety of other compounds.
